Hi, I am 24 years old. Used to play to a decent standard when I was younger but have concentrated on Football for a long while since. Looking to get back into it, based in the Lincoln area. Is there any training sessions I could possibly come to? Believe that I could become a useful member to a team if I can still can play to a similar level I used to.

Champions Cup Final

Section: Cups
by Glenn on 30/05/10 19:17:11 0 Comment(s)
The final of the Champions Cup produced a hard fought encounter between 2 highly committed teams, Lincoln Panthers and United LT.The first half was a low scoring affair with neither team gaining the upper hand.
The 3rd quarter saw Panthers up the tempo and hit their opponents with a scoring blitz of 30 points to 6.This proved decisive and despite some 3 pointers, unbounded enthusiasm and a never say die attitude from United LT, Panthers ran out winners 66-45.

Handicap Cup Final

Section: Cups
by Glenn on 14/05/10 19:47:42 0 Comment(s)
The Handicap Cup Final saw Grantham Swallows try to hold off the scoring power of South Lincs Dragons on Wednesday 12th May. Despite having a big defecit to catch up the Dragons 3-point shooting and defensive pressure proved too much for the Swallows as they cruised to victory 133-124.

The first final of the season was completed yesterday when LTU Lions beat United LT in the Handicap Plate Final at Grantham.
United LT started very well reducing the defecit during the first quarter. But as the game wore on Lions began to pick up their scoring rate and despite a spirited effort from ULT ran out winners 104-72.
